Rehabilitation
Rey Pesina is a Certified Physical Therapist for Plumas District Hospital. Rey is currently affiliated with the APTA and the CPTA, which include orthopedics, sports, and acute special sections. In 1990, Rey earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Loma Linda University, in California. Rey's professional back ground includes 14 years in Southern California, as manager/director of rehabilitation departments (physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology); 19 years in outpatient/home health with 15 of those years as the practice owner of Sierra Valley Physical Therapy. In his spare time, Rey boasts a wide variety of interests and is often drawn to activities that are technical or challenging. These hobbies vary from learning how to fly fish, to renovating a van for off grid living, to his present passion of "building" a jeep to tackle the Rubicon Trail.
For the past 15 years, Rey has served the communities of Greenville and Quincy through his private Physical Therapy practice, Sierra Valley Physical Therapy. We are thrilled to have him join our team.
"After being in private practice since 2002 I felt the draw once again to be part of an interdisciplinary team; being a part of PDH also allows us to provide care for a wider population within the community."
